Whickham School Wireless Network

During the summer holidays Layercom Network Design & Installation provided Whickham Comprehensive School in Gateshead a wireless solution that covered almost all areas of the School.
The installation was to provide and install 37 wireless access points and 37 cat 5e outlets in almost every building on the School campus.
This now provides the teachers access to network resources in a wireless environment and gives more flexibility over a fixed desktop PC.
SFM Legal Services Sunderland

Layercom Network Design & Installation have carried out many installations at SFM legal services situated on the team valley and have recently been appointed to install network points at their new office in Sunderland.
The new office situated at Defender Court in Sunderland needed a further 20 cat 5e outlets installed so that the new employees at SFM could have access to network resources and access to the telephone system to enable better communication between the two sites.
Health Authority

Layercom Network Design & Installation have built a business relationship with local Health Authority providing additional network points at a number of sites.
Foster Findlay Associates Ltd Cat 6 Installation

Layercom Network Design & Installation were chosen to provide Foster Findlay with new office infrastructure at the Newcastle Technopole site based in the centre of Newcastle.
There was to be a cable tray fixed above the suspended ceiling in each room that would hold (168) Cat 6 outlets, which would then feed back to the 27U Data rack where everything was to be terminated and tested with Fluke DTX Cable Analysers.
All test results were passed on to the customer and filed with Layercom
